Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. Equipment shall be owned by the rental vendor 2.2. Equipment may not be more than five (5) years old 2.3. Equipment shall have all current OSHA-required safety devices installed, maintenance records within the last 5 years, and in good operating condition. 2.4. The County shall have the right to accept or reject any proposed equipment based on age, maintenance records, or operating condition. 2.5. All equipment shall comply with all Local, State, and Federal regulations. 2.6. The County reserves the right to request any information related to the age and maintenance records of the equipment. 2.7. The County shall not be liable for the cost of equipment repairs orreplacement due to circumstances beyond its control including, but not limited to, theft, vandalism, fire damage or other normal wear and tear. 2.8. Vendor shall be responsible for the ongoing maintenance of rented equipment. 2.9. The County seeks to contract with a vendor that can supply all of the equipment listed in exhibit C.
