Specifications include, but are not limited to: The design phase scope of work shall include, but is not limited to: 1. Evaluating the existing building, utilities, site components, and parking to determine necessary improvements. 2. Conducting architectural programming sessions with UCLA Health stakeholders. 3. Studying options for incorporating existing lab and ambulatory surgery center functions to be relocated from other UCLA locations into the new programmed space. 4. Studying and incorporating building updates to the existing building construction type to accommodate the new occupancy classification and load. 5. Designing and coordinating furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE) with approved vendors and building utilities. The architectural program shall provide space for clinical and support uses and may include, but not be limited to: 1. Sports Medicine Institute a. Ambulatory surgery b. Sterile processing c. Clinical exam rooms d. Advanced imaging, including shielding 2. Central Fill with Specialty Pharmacy 3. CAP-accredited Microbiology/Serology Clinical Lab a. Including BSL-III testing room 4. WADA-accredited Anti-doping Clinical Lab 5. Common areas and general infrastructure a. Various support spaces for building, staff, and visitors. b. Emergency power upgrades
