Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Contractor shall furnish all materials and labor for installation. • Contractor shall supply all necessary equipment necessary for installation including lifts and arrangements for road closure (if deemed necessary). • Contractor shall safely bury all wiring (rated for underground) and bore under sidewalks as necessary. Contractor may connect to existing power supplies (as approved by City officials) but the City of North Augusta will not supply any necessary transformers, electrical boxes dedicated to lighting, etc. Any upgrades to existing electrical supplies shall be the responsibility of the contractor. • Contractor shall supply “astronomic” timers to all installed lights that can program lights to engage fifteen minutes prior to official sunset and turn off at a time desired by the owner. These timers shall automatically adjust to daylight savings time throughout the year. • The area highlighted above contains a variety of existing trees consisting of Crepe Myrtles and hardwoods at differing maturity levels. The City of North Augusta requests that 9,400 Linear Feet of “strand lights” shall be included (as a minimum) to the lighting project for “C9” shatter-proof, fade-resistant style LED bulbs at 15” spacing. It is estimated that each of the trees existing in the area from the Georgia/Clifton Avenue intersection extending northward to the Georgia/Carolina Avenue intersection will absorb approximately 250’-450’ foot strings of C9 lights...
