Specifications include, but are not limited to: Services provided for the projects may include the following, as applicable: • Project kickoff meeting with HWU for proper identification of project scope and alignment of expectations. • Consultant will perform a comprehensive inspection of each pump station for compliance with the “Recommended Standards for Wastewater Facilities, 2014 Edition, A Report of the Wastewater Committee of the Great Lakes – Upper Mississippi River Board of State and Provincial Health and Environment Managers”, 2014, commonly referred to as the 10-State Standards, and HWU’s own Technical Manual, “Requirements and Specifications for Wastewater and Pump Station Facilities”, dated 18 June 2018. • Prepare preliminary design report/memo assessing the existing facilities and presenting design alternatives to address maintenance and safety concerns. • Services to be provided by the consultant may include flow monitoring, and surveying. Specify if these services are to be provided in-house, or by subcontract. If specific project plans are included in the work scope at a future date, the following items may be included (some items, such as bidding and award services, may be performed by HWU): • Prepare plans and specifications, including design review meetings at 50 percent and 90 percent plans completion. • Prepare and update project cost estimates at preliminary design report, 50, and 100 percent milestones, including recommendations for contingency. • Provide all sub-consultant services necessary including structural, electrical and/or mechanical engineering. • Obtain plans and specification approval from the Division of Water and any other necessary approvals. • Provide Bidding & Award and Construction-Related Engineering Services. • Prepare As-Built drawings and State Certification upon final completion of the project. • Provide warranty inspection 11 months after project completion.
