Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor must provide court-ordered psychological assessment and evaluation services for in-custody and out-of-custody juvenile individuals. Contractor must complete an initial assessment of the juvenile individual. Juvenile Adjudicative Competence Interview (JACI), or Evaluation of Competency to Stand TrialRevised (ECST-R), or Any other psychological assessment acceptable to the County and Juvenile Court to establish the baseline of the juvenile’s performance. Contractor must complete an Intake Report with the results for the initial assessment of the juvenile. The report will state if testing indicates whether the competency of the juvenile is remediable. Psychological assessment and evaluation sessions for in-custody juvenile will be held at the Juvenile Justice Center at 2500 Fairmont Drive, San Leandro, CA 94578. Psychological assessment and evaluation sessions for out-of-custody juvenile will be held at a confidential area at the Juvenile Justice Center. At Contractor's discretion, services can be provided at a mutually determined confidential location. Psychological assessment and evaluation sessions are scheduled based on court orders for each juvenile. Contractor must provide diagnostic evaluations as ordered or required by the Juvenile Court, including but not limited to the following: Intellectual Disability; Learning Disability; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder; Emotional Disturbance; Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder; Autism Spectrum Disorder; Neuropsychological Evaluations; and Any other evaluations as mutually agreed upon by the County, the Juvenile Court, and the Contractor. Contractor must provide diagnostic evaluations as ordered or required by the Juvenile Court, including but not limited to the following: Functional assessment for neurologically impaired youth (i.e., fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, traumatic brain injury); Risk assessment for violence; Risk assessment as a sex offender; Focused testing as determined to assist with treatment planning; Forensic assessments to assist courts with determining competency; Forensic assessment to assist Juvenile Court with placement; Youth Transfer Hearings; and Any other assessments as requested by County and the Juvenile Court. Deliverables and Reports Contractor must provide diagnostic evaluations and written reports as requested by County or as required by the Juvenile Court. Contractor must submit evaluations and written reports no later than five (5) days before juvenile’s scheduled competency hearing. Contractor must submit evaluations and written reports through ACPD’s provided secure portal. Contractor must complete any additional assessments or evaluations as requested by County and mutually agreed upon basis if ordered by the Juvenile Court or requested by County.
