Specifications include, but are not limited to: Task 1: Project Management The consultant shall be responsible for providing all contract management and quality control services throughout the duration of the project. The consultant’s project manager shall play an active role in the management and coordination of the project, including coordinating regular meetings with city staff to discuss project status, problems, budgeting, and other areas that influence the work. Task 1 Scope of Services Project management responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: Coordination of all meetings, and preparation of all agendas and minutes. Preparation of schedules and schedule updates. Preparation and submittal of monthly progress reports with monthly progress payment requests. The monthly progress report shall include: o An overview of work accomplished during the previous month. o A description of current key activities and an updated schedule for each task and subtask. o A list of problem areas, if any, and proposed corrective actions. o A list of tasks for the following month; and o A schedule summary indicating whether the project is on schedule and any schedule concerns, and/or o Critical path items (a recovery plan/schedule for any activities that fall more than two weeks behind schedule shall be prepared). Preparation and adherence to an approved quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program. Maintenance of project files. Task 1 Deliverables Minutes of all meetings. Schedules and schedule updates. Monthly progress reports with monthly progress payment requests. Draft and final infiltration and inflow reduction project report Preparation of the draft and final infiltration and inflow reduction project report. The report should detail the various modeling and monitoring steps that occurred over the course of the project, a summary of the flows observed during the monitoring Task, and the compilation of a list of projects that, upon completion, will reduce the infiltration and inflow into the city’s wastewater collection system. Formal report submittals shall be prepared for review (draft) and distribution (final), with drawings reduced by 50% and printed on 11” x 17” reproducible paper, and specifications printed on 8½” x 11” reproducible paper. Prior to completion of the final submittal, the consultant shall respond to and incorporate, if appropriate, any comments received from the city or other interested party. Six (6) document sets shall be submitted at both draft and final stages. In addition, the final Report document set shall be submitted in portable document format (.pdf). Delivery shall be either via USB flash drive or online file transfer. Task 2: Wastewater Collection System Modeling The consultant shall provide wastewater collection system modeling services as required to coordinate with the monitoring and flow measurement effort as well as to assist in the preparation of the I&I analysis report. The city owns a license for Innovyze® products (InfoAsset Planner, InfoSewer). The consultant shall utilize Innovyze® software for this work. Upon completion, all digital data produced as a part of this project shall become the property of the city. Task 2 Scope of Services Wastewater collection system modeling responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to: Review and analysis of existing digital data (Arc GIS) to develop field monitoring locations. Integration of collected field data into InfoSewer for analysis of the existing system and remediation recommendations. Analysis of modeling data at the completion of field monitoring activities to assist in the preparation of the infiltration and inflow reduction project report. Task 2 Deliverables The following will be provided: Statesville sewer collection system model. Fielding of the model on the City of Statesville server (including user training). Model technical manual and exhibits.
