Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) is seeking to purchase a 27-foot collared cabin aluminum boat with a separate dual axle trailer for the purpose of providing emergency water response by ACFD in the waters off the shores of the cities of Emeryville, Newark, San Leandro, and Oakland. The boat must have a Length Overall (LOA) of no longer than 27 feet, and a Beam Overall (BOA) width no wider than nine (9) feet, that has an operational load no heavier than 12,500 pounds (lbs.). The boat must have a separate dual axle trailer. The aforementioned requirements are for boat maneuverability, the ability to launch the boat safely from different boat ramps, transportation of the boat, particularly in the San Leandro Marina.
