Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County of Portage Wisconsin (County), through its Purchasing Department (Purchasing), requests bids to establish a contract for Demolition and Removal of Vault Toilets and Structures at 3 Locations within the Portage County Parks System. The locations of the structures are at Lake Emily County Park, Jordan County Park, and Lake Dubay County Park within the county. The attached Standard Terms and Conditions shall govern this bid unless specifically modified in these bid documents. Conditions of bid that include the word "must" or "shall,” describe a mandatory requirement. All specifications are defined as mandatory minimum requirements unless otherwise stated. If no bidder is able to comply with a given specification or condition of bid, purchasing reserves the right to delete that specification or condition of bid. Failure to meet specification requirements shall disqualify your bid. Vendors may not submit their own contract document as a substitute for these terms and conditions. The following specifications are minimum acceptable requirements. Bid specifications may not be revised without an official written addendum issued by Purchasing. 10.1 Work includes but is not limited to the removal of the existing 5 toilets and 5 Vaults. Site prep and digging new pits at all 3 sites. 10.2 Contractor shall provide all work and materials to demolish and remove toilets and vaults at all 3 sites. 10.3 All demolition, removal, and digging to be completed by Mid-September to Early October 2024. 10.4 Contractors shall dig new vault pits for each site. See specifics in Attachment E, F, and G for single vault and double vaults. 10.5 Toilet Vault Sites: Lake Emily County Park– Site 1. Jordan County Park-- Site 2. Lake Dubay County Park--Site 3. 10.6 Removal: Remove and dispose of existing 5 toilets and 5 vaults. 10.6.1. Lake Emily- Remove Building structure approximately 11.5’x 20’ concrete block and concrete vault. Remove 1 toilet 1 vault. See Attachment H for coordinates and photos of structure to be removed. 10.6.2. Jordan County Park- Remove 2 building structures approximately 8.5’x 6.5’ wooden structure with concrete vaults. Remove 2 toilets 2 Vaults. See Attachment I for coordinates and photos of structure to be removed.
