Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The purpose of this contract is to provide supplemental services to Clemson’s arboriculture maintenance staff in situations where the demands of tree maintenance or storm damage exceed their resources. Clemson University occasionally experiences backlogs of tree work resulting from storms, tornados, hurricanes, etc. (referred to hereafter as “storm damage”). It is anticipate the majority of work will address storm damage, occasionally routine tree maintenance services may be required. B. Successful Offeror(s) will perform the following work as needed: 1. Tree removal; 2. Tree pruning; 3. Stump grinding and removal; 4. Other arboricultural tasks as needed; C. The work will be performed in accordance with widely accepted industry standards, ANSI Z-133 safety standards and in a controlled safe manner. Pruning work will be performed in accordance with ANSI A-300 pruning standards and done in a controlled, safe manner. D. Successful Offeror(s) must be able to respond onsite within 24 hours of being contacted for emergency work. E. Successful Offeror(s) must have an ISA-certified arborist on staff at all times and all necessary equipment to perform tree work as needed. F. Clemson University will pay dump invoices if it cannot provide a location to dispose of generated debris.
