Specifications include, but are not limited to: The base bid will be for Georgetown County to utilize County trucks or the County awarded aggregate hauling contractor to pick up the material on an “as needed” basis. Georgetown County will place purchase orders as needed. This contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, considering the quality of the product, promptness of pick up, and proximity to our Public Works site: 2236 Browns Ferry Rd., Georgetown, SC 29440. The product must meet all specified standards and regulations to ensure quality and compliance. Bidders may be required to submit a small sample of product for quality assurance and verification purposes. Any unsatisfactory material, will be the liability of the contracted company, to furnish satisfactory material to Georgetown County at no additional cost above and beyond the contract price.
