The work will include pipe segment replacement of deteriorated sewer pipe segments within the collection system using pipe bursting, open cut, or pipe reaming as discussed further below. The work shall include manhole installation and/or replacement and/or full interior surface (e.g. chimney, cone, wall, bench, and channel) rehabilitation when the adjacent pipeline is replaced, and manhole frames and covers as necessary. For pipe replacement work, pipe bursting is the preferred method, followed by open cut and then pipe reaming. The pipe segments to be replaced for this project are identified in Scope of Work Attachment A. The line segments identified may be modified from time-to-time during the project. The selected Contractor shall conduct a pre-CCTV of each line segment to the greatest extent possible to mark and locate the defects prior to commencement of the Work. A complete NASSCO graded post-construction CCTV survey of the entire line segment (manhole to manhole) shall be completed upon completion of the work (no later than one week after the repair or replacement) and provided to Veolia. If following the repair, the line remains inaccessible, the contractor shall provide a supplemental repair cost proposal with the CCTV video for consideration.
