Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Removal of the existing concrete. Concrete and any tie rebar shall be cut to avoid any damage to the existing foundation walls and existing floor drains. 2. The existing concrete is estimated to be approximately 6 inches thick. 3. Concrete shall be disposed of at the Bismarck landfill free of charge and must be free of debris and/or rebar. 4. Any excess subbase removed to accommodate the 8” concrete and 4” base material, may be stockpiled at the landfill free of charge. Location to be coordinated with Toby Sheldon. 5. Subgrade preparation. Subgrade shall be dry and free of any organic material. 6. Installation of a minimum of 4” of aggregate base under the proposed concrete slab. 7. Aggregate base must be adequately compacted using a vibratory plate compactor. 8. Installation of #4 grade 60 rebar 18” on center at approximately the center of the 8” slab. 9. Place new 4,000 PSI concrete, free of any shale, a minimum of 8” thick.
