The Salt Lake County Health Department (SLCoHD) is seeking to update the EMC of an electronic marqueestyle sign located at the South Main Public Health Clinic (3690 S Main St, South Salt Lake, UT 84115). Currently the sign uses a digital scrolling “ticker tape” feature from the 1990s and is no longer able to be updated because its software won’t run on any current computer. Before the COVID-19 pandemic an old Windows 98 laptop was used to update the scrolling marquee, but this is no longer an option for the Health Department. SLCoHD desires to keep the current sign, replacing only the EMC with current technology. Overall sign dimensions are 175” W x 74” H x 12” D. Current display dimensions are 9.5” H x 113” W in a frame that is 15.5” H x 120” W, and the display is double-sided. The current display dimensions do not need to remain as they are now, though the EMC does have to remain double-sided, and the replacement EMC must fit in the existing space. Resolution may increase. Work must be initiated and invoiced prior to July 30, 2024. Work does not need to be completed by this date. Mandatory Requirements 1. 10 mm pixel pitch or better 2. Full color 3. Ability for remote/cloud-based content updating Training included in overall pricing
