Specifications include, but are not limited to: City of Baker City (COBC) is requesting proposals for labor and equipment to clean and video inspect the interior of a concrete 4.5 MG baffled chlorine contact chamber / water storage reservoir and clean and video inspect the interior of a concrete 3.0 MG water storage reservoir using divers or robotic methods. 4.5 MG Reservoir Specifications: • 180 ft. outside diameter dimension. • Approximate height from floor to overflow: 25 ft. • Total wall height 27 ft. • The tank’s roof height above natural ground ranges from 4 ft. to 12ft. with stair access to the roof from the access road. • The interior of the reservoir contains three (3) inner baffle walls with one opening per wall. • The top of the reservoir is flat with two points of entry that are easily accessible. Both man hatches have a caged ladder extending down to the floor of the tank. The access hatch openings measure 30"x54". • The reservoir construction is concrete (floor, walls and roof). • There is a 1 ft. high ledge across the bottom of the opening between the 1st (outer) and 2nd chamber. • There is good vehicle access around the perimeter of the tank. • A nearby site (less than 300’ from the reservoir) is available for disposal of water and sediment. The City has 6” lay flat hose available if needed for the conveyance of the water and sediment to the disposal site. • The estimated total volume of sediment for the reservoir is approximately 160 cubic yards.
