Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Commonwealth of Kentucky, Finance & Administration Cabinet, Division of Engineering & Contract Administration (DECA) is seeking professional design services for the Kentucky Department of Parks (Parks). Work of this project may include but is not limited to Interior Design and Architectural Design related to accommodation and hospitality upgrades at all the Resort Parks. More specifically, the existing offering to park guests are sub-standard to products being offered by private industry. Room finishes/furnishings/meeting facilities need to be updated to contemporary standards to provide an appealing environment to guests and increase revenue opportunities. The Department of Park is looking for a wholistic design approach to the design, with a desire to have continuity in furnishings and finishes throughout the resort park system. Kentucky State Resort Parks is the brand, we are looking for continuity in design with regional flavor. Case goods, furniture, bedding, window treatment and flooring need to be consistent across the 18 parks with availability to purchase replacement stock as needed during the 5-7 year refresh window. Design team will assist in writing RFP for these goods.
