Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) is soliciting for new well drilling, well maintenance, repair, overhaul, abandonment, and new pump installation and pump maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The intent of this solicitation is to offer contractors the opportunity to provide a flat rate charge for a site inspection. The purpose of the site inspection is to give the contractor the opportunity to provide a comprehensive quote for the required well and/or pump related services. All work will be in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code (AAC) §R12-15-8 Well Construction and Licensing of Well Drillers. All work will be conducted on behalf of AZGFD and will be overseen by AZGFD. The contractor must submit a list of planned subcontractors with their bid. All subcontractors must be approved by AZGFD. A quote and, if requested by AZGFD, a detailed description of all work will be required before any work can begin on any job. All work areas will be located on land owned or controlled by AZGFD. The contractor shall confine operations to within the limits of the designated work area. Disturbance of additional land will not be permitted or tolerated. The contractor shall be responsible for damage resulting from additional land disturbance and unauthorized activities; 4.1.1. Site visit/inspection to obtain a quote for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of existing wells, pumps, and related systems shall include (but not be limited to): 4.1.1.1. Testing for bacteria and other contaminants; 4.1.1.2. Leaks; 4.1.1.3. Sand or sediment in the water; 4.1.1.4. Functioning of the pressure tank, pump motor, and pressure switch; 4.1.1.5. Flow test and water level check; 4.1.1.6. Visual inspection of the well, pump, related components, and the overall system for corrosion of to ensure equipment is sanitary and meets all applicable codes; 4.1.1.7. Estimate regarding the remaining useful life of the system and its components; 4.1.1.8. Other well, pump, related components, or system issues identified by the contractor during the site visit which may have the potential to affect well, pump, or related system functionality or the quality of the water.
