The Lancaster County Engineering Department desires to employ a Consulting Engineer to render professional services and such other services for a project scoping activity to be completed with FEMA BRIC Grant Funding, as may be required, and as hereinafter set forth in the scope of work for a Countywide rural drainage study to evaluate stormwater drainage patterns and stream bed degradation occurring along rivers and creeks throughout Lancaster County. Provide a short description of responsibilities, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. Scope of work to include Watershed Inventory, Survey, Hydrology & Hydraulics, Culvert Capacity Analysis, Developing Capital Improvement Projects, Cost Analysis, Project Prioritization, and Report Preparation. Work effort will utilize a combination of existing data, LIDAR, and field work for the areas of the following watersheds in Lancaster County not included in the City of Lincoln Comprehensive Watershed Master Plan: Rock Creek, Oak Creek, Haines Branch, South Salt Creek, North Salt Creek, Camp Creek, Little Nemaha River, and Big Nemaha River.
