Through this Request For Proposal, the City of Champaign is soliciting proposals from qualified Vendors to develop and present an on-site, interactive, baseline sexual harassment prevention training program for all employees that complies with the federal, State and local legal requirements for such training. The City is also requesting the proposal include an additional training program for managerial level City employees that covers various topics such as how to conduct investigations of complaints, how to manage behaviors, climate and work environment to prevent harassment, and if/when/how to handle confidentiality of said complaints. The training should include relevant information indicated by the City’s Administrative Policy “Harassment Prevention and Reporting Policy”, with a focus on “Bystander Training” (obligations for reporting any observed harassment and how protection exists for them). These interactive on-site training sessions would be in the Fall of 2024 and be completed within 60 days.
