PIPE SHALL BE SUPPLIED IN 20 FEET LENGTHS. 6. MANUFACTURE DATE MUST BE NO MORE THAN 24 MONTHS OUT BEFORE DATE OF DELIVERY. 7. THE POLYETHYLENE SOURCE RESIN SHALL HAVE A PPI TR-4 INDEPENDENT LISTING, AND THE PIPE MANUFACTURER SHALL MAINTAIN A DEPENDENT LISTING, ALSO IN CONFORMANCE WITH PPI TR4. 8. ALL REWORK, IF USED, SHALL MEET ALL REQUIREMENTS OF AWWA C901 OR C906 WHICHEVER IS APPLICABLE AND BE GENERATED FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURING FACILITY AS THE SUPPLIED PIPE. REWORK MATERIAL SHALL NOT EXCEED 10% OF MATERIAL USED TO PRODUCE PIPE. 9. THE PE4710 SHALL BE WELL PROCESSED TO MAXIMIZE HOMOGENIZATION TO MINIMIZE OR ELIMINATE UN-PIGMENTED ZONES ACROSS THE PIPE WALL CROSS-SECTION. THE HDPE 4710 PIPE SHALL BE CAPAOF BUTT-FUSION ACROSS THE ENTIRE RANGE OF BOTH HEATER PLATE TEMPERATURES AND INTERFACIAL PRESSOF ASTM F2620. FUSED PIPE MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A MCELROY SIDE BEND TEST. MANDREL CURVATURE TO SPECIMEN THICKNESS TO BE 2:1 (R/T=2/1). 10. PIPE SHALL BE SHIPPED WITH END CAPS TO PREVENT CONTAMINATION DURING SHIPPING AND STORAGE.
