Specifications include, but are not limited to: Goals of the Domestic Abuse Services for Traditionally Underrepresented Populations grant program: Reach out to traditionally underrepresented victims and survivors of domestic abuse in culturally appropriate ways that build trust and connect victims/survivors to systems for safety and support; Identify and eliminate barriers to safety and support services for victims and survivors from traditionally underrepresented populations; Provide accessible, trauma-informed, culturally responsive crisis, safety, and support services across the lifespan for victims/survivors of domestic abuse and their children; Educate the community about issues related to domestic abuse; Promote the leadership of individuals and communities from traditionally underrepresented populations in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of domestic abuse services and in formulating community responses to domestic abuse.
