Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is soliciting a statement of qualifications for a Traffic Signal Professional Services Consultant. The selected Contractor (or Team) will perform Traffic interconnect Maintenance and Support Services under the day-to-day guidance of UTA, and in general conformance with a schedule and staffing budget. Only one Proposer will be selected for this contract. Contractor personnel will be required to have local presence in Salt Lake County, Utah. This request for qualifications identifies the current needs of UTA; however, the Contractor should be able to scale supporting staff up or down depending on UTA needs. The Contractor selected for this project will be expected to address traffic signal coordination, design, design review, programming modifications, maintenance, as well as Queue Cutter and preemption projects that will require the services of a qualified Traffic Control professional and other necessary efforts at UTA. The Contractor will be required to have experience interconnecting traffic signal systems with active railroads.
