Clean, clear or secure property when it has been found to be unsafe, unhealthy, or hazardous to those around it. Each piece of property will be dealt with on an individual basis after the property owner has been properly notified but has not complied with the Notice & Order to Correct by the due date. MINIMUM EXPECTED REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to cut, mow, and haul weeds. • Must be able to board up windows, doors, replace locks, etc. to secure a vacant or vandalized property. • Must be able to remove trees to ground level and have the ability to remove stumps when requested. • Must be able to haul trash, debris, tree stumps, rocks, large pieces of concrete, and other trash type materials. • Must be able to cut/mow a 30-foot perimeter with a tractor on parcels of land over 1 acre in size. • Must be able to perform the above mentioned tasks on a small or large parcel of land. • Must be able to have employee (s) or person capable of performing manual labor as equipment will not be able to perform all functions of cleaning and hauling. • Must have trucks (including dump), tractors and equipment capable of cutting, hauling, and dumping. This equipment must be covered under the insurance supplied. • Must be capable, through permits and licenses) to dump at approved city/county landfills. • Must be capable of identifying hazardous or toxic waste or debris and notify City to hire approved hazardous waste removal contractor. • Must be able to evaluate and provide quote to the City on individual properties within 48 hours of receiving an address and complete the clean up within 5 days of receiving a call to proceed or as otherwise arranged. • List any similar work, done within the past 24 months. Supply a list of employees, references with names and phone numbers, and a list of equipment to do this work. • Must be able to provide an itemized invoice and description of work to the City within 24 hours of abating the property.
