The proposed project will provide major HVAC system renewal for three instructional and student support buildings on Gordon State College’s Barnesville campus: the 102K GSF Instructional Complex (built 2000); the 27K GSF Russell Hall (built 1966), and the 60K GSF Student Center building (built 1977). The HVAC scope includes airside systems renewal (new VAV air handling units/actuators) and digital systems controls, along with associated chilled water piping, ductwork modifications, electrical modifications, insulation, and necessary restoration of ceiling finishes following equipment installation. The project also includes replacement of a main air handling unit and high-efficiency LED lighting upgrades in the Student Center and replacement of the boiler and associated pumps/valves in the 59K GSF Nursing and Health Sciences building (built 2010).
