Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed renovation of Lakeview Building will reconfigure and repurpose the building to provide Nursing and Dental Hygiene simulation labs, skills labs, a public-facing dental hygiene clinic, and related service functions that will enable the complete relocation of GHC’s Nursing and Dental Hygiene programs to the Floyd Campus. An existing multipurpose room will be converted into modern general classroom space for these programs and general campus use. The scope also includes MEP system renewal and targeted building envelope upgrades. In addition to creating academic spaces with improved suitability, function and capacity, the project will also increase instructional efficiency and flexibility, enable improved student and faculty engagement, and enhance student access to support services.
