Specifications include, but are not limited to: Over the 8 years since 2016, the Loading Area cantilever slab and concrete wing walls have sustained considerable physical damage. Similarly, the original steel plate and frame push walls and tapered chute have sustained damage. This project consists of the following repairs to the Loading Area: 1. Sawcut and demolish the remaining existing 1’-2” thick cantilever concrete slab flush with the retaining wall. 2. Construct a new 1’-2” thick cantilever concrete slab in its place as detailed on the plans. 3. Repair the damaged ends of the concrete wing walls using compatible concrete patching materials installed in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. 4. Repair and/or replace all damaged steel plate and tube frame push wall members as necessary. 5. Remove existing steel plate tapered chute from top of steel push walls and replace with new tube framing and steel plate as detailed on the plans. 6. All construction and material specifications are provided as General Notes on the drawings.
