Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal and Replacement of ten (10) septic tank systems in the Pinon community; a. Install a new 1,200-gallon septic tank system including new risers and lids. b. Install new 4” (ABS or PVC) tight line from the existing house to the tank location and from the tank to the new leach lines. Connection at house to be no more than 3 feet from foundation. The location and length of pipe to be determined in the field to ensure required slope requirements. Cleanouts to be installed as necessary/required. c. Install 350 feet of standard leach line. d. Make all connections and provide all materials including but not limited to fittings, glues, primers, distribution boxes and any other materials that are necessary to provide a complete functioning septic system. e. Remove and dispose of existing septic tank and piping per Navajo Nation requirements. f. All work and materials to be per the Navajo Nation Department of Environmental Health standards and inspected by the Navajo Nation Environmental Protection Agency (NNEPA). A final approved Inspection Record signed by the NNEPA to be submitted to the Pinon Chapter House upon completion of the work. g. Obtain all required permits. h. Contractor is responsible for calling NTUA (Navajo Tribal Utility Authority) before digging. i. Provide As-Built drawings of the installation to the Pinon Chapter House. j.
