Specifications include, but are not limited to: t is the intention of Madison County Charter School System (MCCSS) to contract with a vendor(s) for the purchase and implementation of a Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) Managed Services and MDR platform, hereafter referred to as the “SOCaaS and MDR platform.” The SOCaaS and MDR platform shall include all necessary elements for a complete and successfully implemented solution in accordance with the requirements articulated in this Request for Proposals (RFP). Information on the SOCaaS and MDR platform and requirements for submitting a proposal are included in this RFP. The purpose of the SOCaaS and MDR platform is to: (1) strengthen and mature MCCSS’s security posture; (2) offload data collection and analysis; (3) facilitate prevention of security events based on customized response procedures and practices; (4) leverage service provider resources and threat intelligence; (5) provide agility and scalability to adapt to the constantly changing landscape of security threats. The focus of this RFP is to provide the necessary informational requirements such that a qualified vendor (“Respondent”) can propose a solution that meets the criteria.
