Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain a five-year contract for the complete maintenance and repair of the Outdoor Weather Warning Siren System (OWS) which is owned and operated by the Metropolitan Nashville (Metro) Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Metro's existing OWS is composed of one hundred thirteen (113) electro-mechanical sirens manufactured by Federal Signal Corporation (Federal) which are electrically powered, using a mix of shore and solar power for charging of back-up batteries at the individual sites, and is currently activated using Metro's 800MHz Radio System. The siren system includes a mix of 'Eclipse 8' and '508' sirens, two (2) system controllers and two (2) maintenance and test setups at the Metro Emergency Communications Center (ECC) dispatch facilities.
