Specifications include, but are not limited to: SCOPE OF SERVICE The City of Hot Springs is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Performance Data for Professional Services of brokerage and consulting services for benefits to City employees to provide different approaches or strategies to maximize the value of the City’s benefits and minimize costs through the delivery of services. The employee insurance/benefit programs will include but are not limited to, services relating to: Health Care Plans COBRA Administration Life Insurance Dental Insurance Long Term Disability Protection Voluntary Benefit Programs, including Flexible Spending Accounts; The following Scope of Services shall be provided by the firm(s) to be considered: Long Range Planning 1. Provide an initial in-depth review and recommendations of the City’s group insurance programs. 2. Assist in the development of long-range strategies and objectives. 3. Review and discuss contributions and pricing strategies. 4. Inform the City of new products and trends in benefits. 5. Provide an ongoing review and recommendation of programs and benefits plans. Plan Design & Rate Negotiation 1. Assist in designing benefit plans that meet the benefit needs and budget considerations of the City. 2.
