Specifications include, but are not limited to: Lightspeed Internet Filter. *Must be CIPA compliant *Must be able to handle up to 34,000 students and 6,000 teachers, administrators and other employees *Filter must be able to offer multi-levels of filtering based on student grade levels. *Must use Google Safe Search features for Google, YouTube and any other Google related sites. *Included onsite appliance must be able to detect devices in our network but not listed in our active directory. This will include personally owned cell phones, gaming devices, personally owned computers and tablets. The traffic from these devices must be tracked and filtered. *Reporting is required so that our Technology Department can identify any type of Internet activity going on inside of our network. Reports should allow drilling down to the end user, reporting on all searches and all sites visited. Reporting should show trends, behavior and activities done by users protected by the filter. Internet filter terms will need to include the first six months are at absolutely no cost, as to overlap the last six months of our current filter contract still in effect, July 31, 2024 through January 31, 2025. Then a 12 month Internet filter contract at the 12 month cost beginning in January 31, 2025 through January 31, 2026. Lightspeed Classroom Management Internet Filter. *The Classroom Management system will need to be able to work with classes listed in Schoology, across 44 campuses with approximately 3300 active classes simultaneously. The average number of students in a class is around 25. *Teachers in these classes should be able to monitor the activity of students with real-time visibility as well as set limits to Internet access. Administrators of the schools should also be able to monitor the classroom activity as well. *The classroom management system should provide powerful analytics to see trends and adjust controls for specific behaviors and activities.
