• Facility personnel to assist in proper lockout and tagout of boiler. • Remove 72 hot pass tubes boiler tubes located left and right of the Morrison tunnel. • Contractor will be responsible for disposal of old tubes from site. • Once the tubes are removed, contractor will inspect the tube sheet for defects. Should any defects be found in the tube sheet that need repair, contractor will offer the repairs at additional cost. • Clean the tube sheets and polish the tube holes front and back in preparation for the new tube installation. • If the tube holes are found to be oversized from previous retubing, the tube holes may require special remediation at additional cost. •Contractor shall supply and install 72 new ASME SA-178 Grade A. domestic boiler tubes. • Install the new tubes, cut to proper length, straight-roll and bead-roll the tubes in the front by means of specialized tube expanding equipment. Then, straight-roll and seal weld the tubes in the rear section of the boiler. Welder must by a certified R-1 stamp repair approved. • Once the welding process is complete, contractor will lightly re-roll the rear tubes to relieve stresses inherent during the welding process. • Contractor will Hydrostatically pressure test the boiler for an authorized inspector to witness. Contractor will be responsible for any third-party inspections required. • Contractor Provide a written report of services performed. • Contactor shall provide R-1 Traveler documentation after completion of the job.
