All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Construction of a multi-lane roundabout at the Kalahari Drive and Meadowview Drive intersection o Intersection improvements include median and sidewalk extensions on the west leg of Kalahari Drive and retaining walls in the southwest and northeast quadrants of the intersection. Construction will be staged with all roadways remaining open to traffic throughout construction. • Pavement replacement of E Frontage Road and Kalahari Drive o Urban full depth mill and overlay of 635 lineal feet of Kalahari Drive south of the roundabout reconstruct limits. o Urban full depth mill and overlay of 820 lineal feet of E Frontage Road north of the roundabout reconstruct limits. o Urban full depth pavement replacement of 320 lineal feet of Kalahari Drive between the US 12 traffic signals and the roundabout reconstruct limits. • Work items to support the intersection reconstruction include: clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, traffic control, erosion control, utility adjustments and storm sewer, full depth mill of existing asphalt pavement, asphalt and concrete pavement, base course, concrete sidewalk, concrete curb and gutter, metal railing, retaining wall, street lighting, pavement markings and signage, and turf/site restoration; and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and included in the contract documents.
