Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1 ASPHALT CURBING: Asphaltic concrete (hot mix) used for asphalt curbing shall be Grade E and shall meet the requirements of TDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (January 01, 2021) Sections 411 and 903.11, or any subsequent revisions. 4.2 ASPHALT FOR INFRARED BURN IN: Asphaltic concrete (hot mix) used in infrared burn in's shall be Grade D or Grade E, both shall meet the requirements of TDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (January 01, 2021) Sections 411 and 903.11, or any subsequent revisions. Knox County will specify which grade of asphaltic concrete to be used per application. 4.3 CONCRETE CURBS: All concrete curbs shall be constructed in accordance with TDOT Standard Drawings RPSC-1, RP-VC-10 and/or RP-VC-11.
