1.1. The Arizona State Fair is held annually usually between mid-September and midNovember. The number of days of the fair can very but is usually between 18 and 23 days each year. The 2024 Arizona State Fair is scheduled to operate 23 days and the event is anticipated to attracting over 1.3 million people. Event days are Thursday - Sunday starting September 20, 2024 and running through October 27, 2024. Number of staff required for each event varies but is usually 80 to 90 employees per day. Shifts may include overnight between 11pm and 7am. 1.2. Proposal is separated into two areas. Contractor(s) can bid on one or both areas. 1.2.1. Coliseum 1.2.2. Fairgrounds 1.3. In addition to the annual Fair event janitorial services are also required for the year-round event season held on the fairground. These events are produced by a third party and the Fairgrounds provides support services to each unique event. The total events with janitorial service during the most recent event season (November 1, 2023 through May 30, 2024) was XXX.
