Specifications include, but are not limited to: The intent of this RFP is to pre-qualify engineering firms as resources that the City, at its sole discretion, can select from to provide wastewater collections engineering and pipeline technical services. Assignments can range from wastewater collections system planning and modeling, operation and maintenance planning and pipeline technical support, inflow and infiltration studies, trenchless rehabilitation technical support, code and standards updates, and other engineering and technical support for Salem’s wastewater collections system. Projects may be numerous throughout the year, or no assignments may be made at all. Therefore, the City will consider small, as well as large, firms for these contracts. The City also reserves the right to use other means of procurement (such as individual formal RFPs) at its sole discretion.
