Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful Proposer will complete an appraisal and valuation report of all the works in Art in Public Places collections. Valuation will be based upon the insurance/replacement value of each piece. The Proposer will conduct on-site visits to County sites, checking any location where items may be stored or installed. On these visits, the appraiser may be accompanied by County staff. Some works may currently be on loan. These loans may affect the appraisal process, if so, the term of the contract may be extended to allow Proposer to appraise the works once they have been returned to County. The County will not lend works during the appraisal process to minimize impact on the Proposer. The appraisal report shall include the following for each piece: • Insurance/replacement value • Physical dimensions of the piece • Digital photograph of each piece • Current condition of each piece • Brief description of the piece, including any unique markings, signatures, or initials that identify the artist or manufacturer • Current location (building and room)...
