Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All drawers, pedestals, and similar items to be provided with locks. Locks to be in matte black. All locking elements shall be keyed alike per private office, per workstation or as otherwise noted in specifications but each of these should be keyed differently. Provide four (4) master keys and plug pullers to Client at project completion. Four (4) keys for each lock shall be provided for the Client. All lock cylinders to be keyed to one master, for all manufacturers’ products in the entire project. Leave two (2) keys in each office and/or workstation for the end user. 2. Provide commercial grade lockable key cabinet(s) capable of accommodating all furniture keying for entire project. All keys to be neatly coded with permanently attached metal or acrylic tags with permanent lettering applied or embossed, or other materials and methods as approved by Client. Numbering of keys to correspond to graphics numbering system established for project as approved by Client. Place keys into key cabinet with computer generated permanent labels provided within cabinet. Provide and coordinate keying map in AutoCad and in PDF form, identifying key numbering system used in installation. At completion of installation, collect two (2) sets of keys for each keyway and insert in cabinet. Graphics plans with numbering scheme will be provided to The Vendor at a later date (no later than approximately four (4) weeks prior to move-in). Balance of keys (if any) to be placed in clear zip-lock bags identified with permanent marker and placed in sequential number order in divided storage cases for turnover to Client. Install key cabinet(s) in location as determined by Client. 3. Each fabric is to be from one dye lot. Any exception of this must be reviewed and approved by Designer and Client.
