Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Uninstall and dispose of existing 45 KW Generac propane generator, exhaust muffler/piping and related equipment. Provide temporary power when the existing generator is inoperable until the new generator is in operation. b. Provide one (1) new 50KW, LP, 277/480V, Three-phase generator skid mounted with line breaker, block heater, emergency stop button, battery and battery charger. c. Provide delivery, off-loading, and rigging to set new generator. d. Provide mounting suitable for generator size and weight. Includes preparation work for generator mounting. e. Re-work existing intake and exhaust louvers for new generator. Including sheet metal work from louver to new generator radiator. f. Provide new generator exhaust muffler, exhaust pipping, wall sleeve, and exhaust insulation. g. Remove and dispose of existing transfer switch and provide new Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). h. Provide rework of conduits/wiring for new generator battery charger, block heater, and controls. i. Provide rework of conduits/wiring from generator control to existing Scada Panel. j. Provide fuel connections to existing fuel supply. k. Provide any post installation details to include but not limited to finish sheetrock, fire stopping or other finishing details that would complete the necessary code obligations. l. The contractor shall maintain a clean and safe job site. At the conclusion of the work, it will be the contractor’s responsibility to clean and remove all waste, rubbish and other debris created by the work and leave the work site in a manner acceptable to the Town of Rye Sewer Commission. m. Provide technician for required start-up, testing, commissioning, and owner training as well as provide operations and maintenance manuals. n. One-year warranty on all parts and labor required and provide additional extended warranty options and cost. The start date of the warranty shall be upon completion of testing. o. The Contractor shall submit in writing any additional work that the contractor feels should be included and what the total cost will be for each additional item. All requests for additional work shall require approval by the Town of Rye Sewer Commission before work is done.
