While not mandatory, the inclusion of fuel additives that enhance fuel quality is strongly recommended to further safeguard the integrity of our fleet. Greenville County EMS consumes more than 20,000 gallons of fuel and diesel each month. In light of this demand, securing pricing that incorporates discounted rates for large quantities is strongly recommended to optimize cost-efficiency and fiscal responsiblity. 3.3. Goal 2: Fuel Purchase Card Program The awarded vendor for Greenville County EMS will be tasked with implementing a comprehensive fuel purchase card program. This program should include no annual fees and will encompass at least 69 vehicles. The fuel purchase cards must be universally accepted at all fueling stations nationwide, facilitation seamless refueling operations regardless of location. Enhanced security features to mitigate fraud and misuse will also be imperative. Mileage tracking directly at the pump is required. Capabilities such as driver ID verification and other similar options are considered advantageous for this project. The program must also offer accessibility to account management software for multiple users. 3.4. Goal 3: Monthly Mileage and Cost Reports Continuous tracking of vehicle maintenance and comprehensive cost breakdowns are critical priorities for Greenville County EMS. The awarded vendor must facilitate ongoing monitoring of vehicle maintenance by providing monthly mileage summary reports, which are essential in planning future maintenance schedules. Furthermore, the vendor must furnish detailed monthly cost breakdowns for each fuel purchase card used by our fleet. The ability to generate custom reports tailored to our ongoing needs, allowing us analyze data for operational objectives would also be appreciated. This goal ensures that Greenville County EMS maintains transparency over its fuel management process, fleet performance, and fiscal responsibilities.
