The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: Removal of existing wrought iron fencing, including posts, rails, and any associated hardware. Installation of temporary fencing. Repair of pillars and caps where needed. Proper disposal of all removed fencing materials in compliance with local regulations. Preparation of the site, including clearing vegetation and debris from the area where the new masonry will be installed. Excavation of the trench for the footings of the wall that includes 6in. of compacted road base for concrete to be poured on. Installation of concrete footings with vertical rebar. Specifications for footings will be determined after pre-bid meeting and added to the bid posting. Construction of the masonry wall using high-quality blocks, laid in a uniform and structurally sound manner with rebar every 4 ft. Incorporation of any design elements or patterns as shown in Exhibit A, matching height of existing adjacent walls. Dowel in with rebar in pillars on fourth and top course. Grouting and finishing of the masonry wall to achieve a smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface that includes matching caps of existing adjacent walls. Cleanup of the work site upon completion of the project, including removal of construction debris and temporary structures, and repair of any damaged landscaping or other items.
