• The contractor shall procure, store, and deliver materials free of defect at the time of the renovation. All materials are to be protected from temperature extremes in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. • Provide barricades to identify the work area, signage to reroute the public and employees, and where applicable, plastic sheeting to prevent dust and debris from permeating the surrounding area. • Communicate all work schedules with Facilities and IT departments to ensure that ample notice can be given to staff. Door entrance to room 230: • Remove, dispose of construction debris, widen and replace door opening with finished, paint to match drywall in existing space. • New opening with will be determined by location of nearest wall stud. Light and electrical shall be moved to accommodate width in an easterly wall direction. Contractor shall work with IT Director and Facilities to determine final width. • Add carpet to match existing to be furnished by BC and installed by contractor. • Add corner guards to be furnished and installed on the finished drywall opening. Protectors shall be floor level to approximately 6 feet high. Office entrance Room 220/220 A: • Remove existing half wall, counter and half door. Patch resulting wall and ceiling damage. • Construct wall approximately 12’ 8’ inclusive of door and frame supplied by BC • 6" Wall shall be finished with drywall and painted to match existing space. • Wall outlet(s), thermostat and light switch to move into new space east of newly constructed wall. • Current lighting will need to be split for independent control of the 220 entry room and new 220A office space. Existing switches can be reused. All wiring to be installed per code. • HVAC to remain • Fire Protection to be addressed per code requirements, it is believed to be in compliance with new wall. Room 206 Office Walls, door, lights: • Construct 2 walls; 1 wall approximately 8’ 5” running north and south using the previously existing wall location and 1 wall approximately 15’ 1 ¼” running east and west including a door swinging in toward the east office wall. • Wall running north/south will be reattached to previously existing wall below ceiling tiles. • Wall running east/well be affixed to deck above ceiling tiles, with drywall finished to ceiling tile height. See photo for reference. • Door and frame shall be supplied by BC. • 6" Wall shall be drywall finished and painted to match existing space. • HVAC: supply ventilation is existing, return is in adjacent space no modifications are required. • Electrical: 1 light switch shall added to existing larger shared space circuit so office is independent from adjacent space. Existing lighting fixtures will stay. • Confirm fire protection does not need to be modified as initial fire protection included provisions for previously existing walls. *see attached photo
