Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will construct bicycle and pedestrian improvements along 8th Street from McClintock Drive to Rural Road. More specifically, the project will place traffic calming along 8th Street, high visibility/raised crosswalks, directional ramps, bike lanes, and enhanced landscaping. In addition, the City will construct a 10-foot off-street multi-use path with lighting, landscaping, and rest nodes in the abandoned historic Creamery Branch Rail alignment located just north of the existing 8th Street sidewalk from Dorsey Lane to Rural Road. The typical duties will include construction document review of submittals, shop drawings, requests-for-information, record drawings, other pertinent project documents. The CM will monitor the schedule and budget, coordinate the schedule with the stakeholders and design team, perform daily field inspections, maintain daily reports, review contractor payment applications, and change order proposals, coordinate materials testing, and maintain the federal regulations for the job site. The CM’s project manager will conduct construction meetings on a weekly basis and serve as "de facto" City-designated project manager. Other duties may include managing and coordinating with multiple regulatory agencies and permitting authorities, continuously managing the outreach process to City residents and other stakeholders, administering construction contracts, and ensuring that each project phase is completed efficiently and within the established restrictions.
