Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) seeks one or more responsible providers to assist in its Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Grant Program. The federal grant program was established under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries (NOAA) to restore coastal habitat and strengthen community resilience. The program supports projects that will have a transformative impact on coastal communities and tribes across the country, including projects that will help sustain our nation’s fisheries, make significant strides in the recovery of threatened and endangered species, and help protect coastal communities and ecosystems from the impacts of climate change. The selected provider(s) will work closely with DOFAW and NOAA to successfully implement the grant program objectives for the project titled Olowalu Resilient Reef: Transformational Habitat Solutions from the Forest to the Sea.
