Specifications include, but are not limited to: This solicitation is to increase the number of contracts available under Vehicle Aftermarket Accessories, Components, and Labor. The awarded vendors will join the existing contractors for the remainder of the portfolio term. Every year different governmental Law Enforcement agencies need to up-fit or equip vehicles with aftermarket equipment to provide a variety of government services. As such, there is a need for ancillary equipment to be installed on the vehicle. Every year State agencies and political subdivisions of the state will replace vehicles based on mileage and/ or vehicle age. The yearly replacement cycle runs year-round. The awarded contractors will be utilized to provide vehicle aftermarket accessories and/or perform the installation of ancillary equipment on State agency vehicles. Currently, there are 11 vehicle class standards; the awarded vendor may also do uplifting and striping in additional emergency vehicles as needed by the eligible user. As part of these services, the contracted agency will also need to strip all necessary equipment from the vehicles slated for replacement. All useable equipment is then warehoused for use on new vehicles.
