The selected Contractor shall be expected to work closely with designated City of Portland personnel to perform the tasks described generally below. The trash containers are known as Cart Garages (“CG”) and are manufactured by Securr™. Container details are shown in Attachment H – Trash Container Specifications: • CG65-D-012 65-gallon CG with side bin Approximate quantity: 110 Each CG consists of an outer metal enclosure with a locked panel that allows access to an industrystandard roll cart that is housed inside. The roll cart shall be compatible with semi-automated or fully automated lift arms found on most garbage trucks. The side bins are intended for the placement and collection of cans, bottles, and other items with redemption value per the Oregon Bottle Bill (“Redemptive Items”). SERVICE OF EACH CG The Contractor shall: • Unlock each CG, remove the roll cart, and empty the contents into an approved collection vehicle. • Remove and dispose of any loose litter inside the CG and side bin (Redemptive Items shall not be removed). • Return the roll cart to the CG and lock the CG. • Remove and dispose of any full bags of trash bags in the area immediately around the container.
