Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1. The device shall have an included library with CWA, explosives, precursors TIC/TIM, narcotic. The ability to transfer data via Wi-Fi or USB. Included Library and Software updates for the life of the unit with 24/7/365 reach back support. 4.2. Additional specifications shall include the following: ▪ Must use 1064nm Laser technology ▪ Must have an onboard camera to add pictures to the analytical files ▪ Must have both a touchscreen and keypad for duplication of operation in any PPE scenarios ▪ Must have the ability to add a software program for performing Trace detection using colorimetric technology. Must include a monitoring software program to identify combinations of precursors at a sampling scene, warning the operator of the presence of a larger threat. 4.3. The KHP reserves the right to waive minor technicalities under this specification. Federal and State laws supersede any conflicting part of this specification. 4.4. All equipment and accessories shall be of current model, new and unused, under standard production by the manufacturer. 4.5. After extensive evaluation and any Federal requirements, the KHP will accept bids for only those products specified within this stated bid specifications. 4.6. The Kansas Highway Patrol shall reserve the right to make multiple awards in the KHP and the State of Kansas best interests. Any estimated usage in this bid is based on current information. 4.7. All stated quantities are estimated annual usage, the KHP shall reserve the right to order more as less than those stated based upon need or based on budget restraints.
