The State is requesting proposals for a single entity to oversee and administer a Private Roads Erosion Inventory Program. The scope of work the recipient will be responsible for Private Roads Erosion Technical Resource Development and Private Roads Funding Program Delivery. This funding initiative will oversee the completion of mapping of non-regulated private roads, delivery of technical assistance to entities interested in conducting REIs, identification of road best management practices to address erosion, and associated education and outreach to landowners. The funding program will result in the completion of an estimated 12-20 REIs strategically distributed throughout all of Vermont's sub-basins of Lake Champlain. The funding program administrator (FPA) may subgrant/contract the technical resource development and/or program delivery tasks and costs.
