Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design a new seismically-resilient bridge that: Improves earthquake resilience of this lifeline route which allows emergency services to respond after an earthquake; Smooths the ride for travelers; Provides wider shoulder for emergency use and cyclists; and Improves the resiliency of this critical economical and international trade route. The expected outcome of the WOC is to obtain bridge and structures engineering and drafting support services for the resulting I-84 UPRR Bridge replacement project, including, but not limited to, design services for Design Acceptance Plans (“DAP”), Preliminary Plans, Advance Plans, and Final Plans, Specifications & Estimates (“PS&E”) and meet all key objectives identified within the scope of services set forth in Mini-RFP Attachment B - Statement of Work (the “Services”). Proposers responding to the Mini-RFP do so solely at their expense. Agency is not responsible for any Proposer expenses associated with the Mini-RFP. The selected Proposer and Agency will negotiate the delivery schedule, costs and final Statement of Work, within the scope of Services set forth below and in Mini-RFP Attachment B – Statement of Work, for inclusion in the final WOC: A&E and Related Services related to bridge and structures engineering and drafting support, including, but not limited to: Bridge quality control checking; Bridge load rating; Bridge design CAD drafting; Design assistance, including but not limited to superstructure and substructure design; and Advertisement and construction support, including but not limited to reviewing shop drawings and making plan revisions. The WOC is anticipated to start within 30 days following notice to proceed and is expected to be completed within 3 years from notice to proceed. Pending successful negotiations, the selected Proposer shall perform its obligations according to the WOC and applicable terms and conditions of the parent PA and exhibits thereto. Agency anticipates the construction budget for this Project will not exceed $500,000.
