Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who provides Software as a Service (SaaS) for the purpose of Software development and implementation of a cloud based/web-based Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that fits the needs of The University of Georgia’s PDRC Diagnostic Lab. The PDRC diagnostic lab understands that there are out of the box solutions for LIMS, however experience has shown that further customization has been required and these systems are not established for use in a production animal system. The supplier’s proposal must account for dealing with multiple animals and sample types as part of a single case, both for ease of data entry, results reporting and data retrieval.
