Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract will be utilized to complete sampling and testing of materials on City of Phoenix projects from various departments including Street Transportation, Aviation, Parks, and Fire Department, among others. The scope of work may include miscellaneous geotechnical investigations; materials testing and laboratory services including, but not limited to: sampling, laboratory and field testing of soil, concrete and asphalt; asphalt, concrete, aggregate, and pipe plant inspections; analyses and preparation of reports; forensic geotechnical and pavement investigations; special inspections, and other services. The location and time commitment for field sampling and testing will vary, but projects will be primarily located within or around Maricopa County. When assigned an specific project for acceptance testing, firms will be required to complete a review of reports and testing completed by assigned technician and compile a project report (closeout book) at the completion of the project.
